Hermes Cabin

His hood had fallen down at some point and his haunted eyes were filled with fear.

Talia slowly stood up and went over to him. "John?" she said quietly.

John looked at her, terrified of judgement.

Killian looks at him, "Mate we want to help, but we cant do that if you shut us out. Take it from someone who knows. Is because you got your butt whooped by the Quinton kid, cause I'll go deal with  him if it is."

"It's alright John. You can talk to me. Yo estoy aquí, Juan. Puedes hablar conmigo, hermano mayor." Talia whispered, looking in his eyes.

John swallowed, then pulled his hoodie over his head with his right hand, unbuttoning the shirt and pulling that off, revealing a series of straps across his chest. He took a steadying breath, then pulled off the long glove. His entire left arm was mechanical, and the harness was keeping the prosthetic in place while the damaged tissue around it, heavily scarred, healed. He looked at the ground, the arm hanging limply at his side as he refused to meet their eyes.

Talia looked at his arm before looking back at his face. She wrapped her arms around him. "I love you, big brother." she whispered, hugging him.

John staggered a bit, still unused to the unoperational dead weight on his left side.

Talia steadied him somehow and held onto him.

John didn't hug back but he didn't flinch too much.

"I'm here for you, John." Talia said.

John didn't reply.

Talia kept hugging him.

John gently pushed her away.

Killian just stood there, slightly stunned. "How long has it been?" He asks calmly.

Talia stepped back.

"Since?" John rasped as he bent down to get something from his bag.

"Since when ever it was this happened. " He said motioning to the robotic arm. "Who ever it was that did this to you I'll hunt him down."

"Good luck with that," John rasped, finding what he wanted (x) and pressing the middle before slapping it onto his metal arm. There was a moment when nothing happened, then there was a loud whirring as the plates along the limb shuffled and his arm seemed to move of its own accord. Then it stopped and John started pulling his glove and clothes back on.

Killian sighs, "You need to show this to Allie mate when she gets back."

"It's fine," John rasped.

Killian frowns, "Well you should at least go say hi to Hannah in the infirmary. I'm sure she'll want to see you.  Take care of yourself mate." He says and leaves the cabin.

John just curled up on his bunk again.

Hannah knew John was back and went and knocked on his door.

John didn't answer the door, but curled into his duvet.
