Athena Cabin

Ella smiled gratefully at Astra and went over to her bed, wiping her eyes fiercely.

"Will you be all right now, pen neth?" Astra asked, wiping Ella's tears away with a delicate silver-white handkerchief.

Ella nodded. "I think so... thank you"

"No problem, pen aew," she smiled.

Ella lay back on her bed. Part of her wanted to look at the album, and she would at some point. But not now, not yet.

Astra left silently. Q peeked tentatively over his sister's shoulder. [Bag?]

Ella closed her eyes briefly, but opened them two seconds later when she got bored. She needed a new project, something to distract herself from Fliss. [What do you mean bag?]

Q had turned himself back to his laptop, and was typing something before vanishing head first into a bag. [Is your bag sorted for tomorrow?]

[Yes I had to get it all ready and leave by 5. It was a little bit stressful]
Ella reached for her tablet and began to read.

Skye smiled fondly at her brother as he found what he was looking for, and held out her hand as he motioned for her to do, typing with one hand almost as quickly as she had with two. He buried himself in the bag again and came out with a fancy looking remote control. He put the original thing on his twin's hand, and plugged the remote into his laptop, typign for a second andd then waiting as it uploaded the data. He unplugged it swiftly and pressed a button, looking delighted as the thing on his sister's hand lit up with lights. He carefully twisted a dial and pushed up a lever, grinning as it began to hover, and he moved it around happily.
[Ouch. But yay!]

Ella's attention was drawn to the twins when she saw the object light up out of the corner of her eye. When the thing began to hover, she put her tablet down immediately and sat up cross-legged on her bed, watching curiously.

Q concentrated hard, and made it move a little more, when he notiiced Ella watching and his hands jerked, sending the miniature craft to the cabin foor with a crunch.

"Sorry, was that my fault?" Ella asked concernedly.

Q was more concerned with the little craft than talking. "Not realy," Skye shrugged. "He was just surprised."

Ella watched the object with interest for a while, wondering about the various ways in which it could work.

Drone:

Q brought out a mini screwdriver and sat on the floor, fixing.

"What does it do?" Ella asked quietly.

Q stayed focused on his task. Skye waited for him to respond, and when he didn't, sighed. "Lots of things. He'll happily tell you, won't you?" she emphasised, and Q shook his head cheerfully.

Ella grinned. Despite that the fact that she doubted he'd ever held a normal conversation in his life, she rather liked him.

Q continued working.

Ella got up and soundlessly walked over to see what Q was doing.

Q jumped as he suddenly saw her.

"Sorry," she apologised. "I was just curious. How does that thing work exactly?"

"Simple engine system but complicated thrusters," Q shrugged, pointing to the four protrusions from the main body.

Ella peered at the device, her eyes following the paths of the wires as Q worked.
