Logan walked into his cabin, his clothes still damp from the beach.

Zoe sat on her bed playing with Shane

Logan nodded at Zoe, to say hi nonverbally, and changed his clothes, setting the wet ones out to dry. Logan was so much happier now. Not so much that Flissy had left. He missed her, but at least the cabin wouldn't be filled with constant arguing and bickering about the dog, and her return and whatnot.

Zoe threw the ball towards logan and Shane all but tackled him to the ground

(Have they heard the news about Viridian or nah?)

(I wasn't sure whether or not to say Logan has heard it. I would assume not.)

Tara leaned over the windowsill, watching the siblings. "I'm guessing you haven't heard the news yet."

"W-what news?" Logan asked.

Zoe looked at the girl in the window and cocked her head to the side

"Viridian's dead," Tara said shortly. "And Alexis is staying in Indiana for good. I left after the funeral, but Chris should be back soon."

Logan frowned. "She's dead..." He began to tear up. "What happened?"

"I don't know, but I have my suspicions," Tara frowned. "She was incredibly broken."

Logan nodded, tears streaming down his face. "I can't believe it." He said, just barely getting the words out.

Zoe rushed over to logan and held him.
Shane ran over as well and licked his face

"You may want to talk to Chris when he gets back," Tara said. "You can commemorate together. Oh, one last thing." She extracted an envelope from her bag. "Viridian wrote you this."

"Toss it." Logan said, seeing as his bunk was farthest from the window.

Tara threw the envelope to him.

Logan caught the envelope and inside was a note. He read the note slowly and carefully to make sure he didn't make any mistakes.

(What does the note say?)

Logan,

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being strong enough, I'm sorry for causing any sadness, and I'm sorry that I can't be there right now.

Gosh, I remember when I first came to camp and you made me feel welcome in Athena Cabin, and countless singing and playing guitar sessions on the beach.

Sorry, I'm bad at this.

You're one of the best brothers I could ever have asked for. Thanks for everything, Logan.

Inside the envelope was a worn guitar pick.

Logan looked at the guitar pick and smiled. He read the note as well. He couldn't help but smile and then frown again. He wasn't sure what to feel.

"You can spread the news however you'd like," Tara continued. "It's in your hands now." She left.

Logan sighed. "Wonderful." He thought. "Now I get to tell everyone." He said aloud. "Flissy will never know." He suddenly realized.

Brae walked up to the cabin door in an oversized sweater and leggings with Uggs. She knocked and tried to push her hair out of her face with her sleeve. Her sweater said Free Hugs! on it.

"Come in!" Logan called. The tears had stopped but you could tell from his eyes that he was recently crying.

She tried to open the door but was haunt difficulties because her sleeves were covering her hands. She finally got if open and smile before it dropped. "Logan?" she asked softly, walking over to him.
