Carmon sighs, "Maybe I'm not so much as a fighter as I am a run away and hide."

"You just need to learn. That's what I'm here for." Jordan paused. "Here. I have an idea. Let's start without weapons." He put his sword away. "Put the knife away for now."

She sighs and puts her dagger away, "You really don't have to do all this."

"I want to help you." Jordan said. "It's a scary world outside those borders and I want you to be prepared."

Carmon sighs, "Sure."

"Okay. So first thing we'll do is some ways to defend yourself." Jordan said. He steps behind Carmon and takes a hold of her arms as he locks her hands together behind her back and holds onto them by the wrist. "Let's say someone has your hands tied together like this behind your back." How do you get out of this?"

"Kick and start running?"

"Well that's for sure one way." Jordan said. "But watch. Do the same to me."

Carmon does as instructed.

Jordan did a maneuver that broke his hands free and spun him around so that he was facing her. "And then I attack." He said. "That won't work for every bind you're in. But it should suffice for most you'd find yourself stuck in. Try it." Jordan held her wrosts behind her back again.

Carmon tries the maneuver that Jordan showed her.

"Almost." Jordan said. "A lot of it is in the nuanced movement of your hands. It has to be very precise. Try it again."

Carmon sighs, "Lets face it. I'm not a fighter. There is a reason that my mom gave up her seat."

"Carmon, I believe I can make you into a fighter. You just need to be willing to put the work into it."

Gar changed back slightly annoyed "Not everyone is a fighter, there is nothing wrong with that."

Carmon whimpers slightly. This is exactly what she wanted to avoid, "You know I think I'm just gonna head back to my cabin."

"Carmon. Hold on." Jordan said.

Carmon pauses and looks at them.

"Do you want to do this?" Jordan asked simply. "Because if you do, I will work with you."

“I agree with him it’s the best way to safe out there but you shouldn’t do it if you don’t fell comfortable “ Gar said

Carmon fidgets and sighs, "Um maybe? No? Ugh I dont know."

“Then take some time and think it over” Gar said softly

Carmon sighs, "I'm really sorry about all this." She says, completely embarrassed and heads off to her cabin.

"No need to apologize." Jordan said as she walked off.

Hadley walks into the arena and takes a deep breath as the dummies come alive giving her a moving target.
