Backstory: Beck grew up with his mom and stepdad on the west coast of Canada until his stepdad moved them to New York, when Beck was eight. A year later, Aion claimed Beck and he started having issues in school. He was bullied a bit and constantly picked fights with other kids. He barely made it to high school and when he did, he started hanging out with the wrong crowd and started getting into serious trouble. After a cop brought him home for what felt like the millionth time, Beck's mom decided to take him to camp because she couldn't deal with him anymore. It was just after his 16th birthday.
