Backstory: Both of her parents were annoyingly fond of the show Where in the world is Carmon Sandiago? Her step mom was a Journalist, so her dad primarily stayed at home with her. Before Carmon was left at his front door, her dad James, was an environmental writer, and had traveled all over the world. When Carmon was little she often asked her dad if he missed work. Every time he shook his head and would tell her that if he had to pick between never becoming a writer or never becoming a parent, he would pick never being a writer if it meant that he got to be her dad.
