The Trees

~Quinton~
He went and sat on a tree stump. "Wow.. Well, Um I was trained to fight and Die since I was a kid. Mother died at Child Birth and was Adopted by My Uncle who Worshiped Ares and War gods. So It was grim."

Hannah blinked, a little stunned, "Wow. Well, how was your uncle? Was he a good man?"

~Quinton~
"Yeah. He was good but serious."

Hannah nods, "When did you find out you were a demigod?"

~Quinton~
"13."

Hannah nods, "So what happened? how were you able to avoid monster attacks?"

~Quinton~
"I was raised to fight. So I just did and Im still fighting. Almost died a couple times but I persevered."

Hannah frowned, "But why go looking for fights? I'm not defending the Ares kids cause they're a bunch of hot heads. Don't tell them I told you that. I am however saying that you always have a choice. Even when you think you don't." She says a bit sadly, "I just want to know why you fight."

~Quinton~
He smiled. "I dont have a reason. I just do. I've only been good at it so I just do it."

Hannah sighs, " But what part of hurting others makes you happy? Have you ever thought about trying something else?"

~Quinton~
"Nope. And Its not hurting others its more of my own skill I gain pleasure."

Hannah frowns, 'I'm sorry, I'm just having a bit of a hard time understanding this. What pleasure is there?"

~Quinton~
He sat there and thought the spoke. "Its the Adrenaline and Bloodlust. Its a thing warriors get or Decedents of Ares."

Hannah frowns, "Must it always be so violent though? All the campers here are on the same team so to speak. Attacking them is like attacking someone from your team so the other team wins." She says, still unsure.

"I guess so."

{Cool. I usually like to wait and open mine with my family.}
Hannah nods, "So, your girlfriend. How long have you been together?"

~Quinton~
He smiled. "Um.. About a week."

Hannah nods, "Then you need to understand why Killian got so angry about that first fight. You love her right? And would do what you could to keep her safe."

~Quinton~
He laughed. "Look. It was a fight between me and him. If he couldnt handle it then he shouldnt have fought. Plus no one told his Girlfriend to run in while I was attacking." He told her sternly.

Hannah nods, "True, but from what he told me, you made him think that you had killed Sophia." She says softly, "I just want to know why, if it is true, why you did that."

~Quinton~
"They're All illusions. Why dont people here get that? I didnt do that it was just to scare him."

"That may be so, but it still doesn't make it any less wrong." She says calmly, "I'm sorry but unless you can get people to train with you and teach them how to fight through it, then I'm going to have to ask you to save that kind of power, for a monster fight."

He thought about but then shook his head. "No. If some Wind God's Kid and jump over people he can do it in a fight. So I can scare people."
