The Trees

Just a quick reminder to all campers to reply to characters' bio forms when they are no longer in use as characters to let us know that fact so we can keep the collection up to date, and also to reply in the Faceclaim, Who's Who, and Cabin lists so that we can work as efficiently as possible!

"I read and sometimes spray paint down at the caves" Carlos said.

Bell sat down against a tree and took out a book.

Ella stopped as she reached her favourite tree, panting heavily. She jumped up at caught the lowest branch, swinging herself up with practised ease, not stopping until she was safely hidden away amongst the thick foliage. Then she finally drew her knees into her chest and buried her head in her hands, weeping bitterly.

Astra descended to the sobbing child silently, sitting next to her without a word and wrapping her arms around the other girl, humming quiet lullabies soothingly.

Ella rested her head on Astra's shoulder, listening intently to the comforting sound until her uncontrolled crying faded away to gentle sobs.
