The Border

Cassie smiles, "Well aren't you an overflowing ray of sunshine." She says sarcastically.

Miles rolled his eyes "yeah."

Landry checked her makeup before crossing the border. "Perfect, as always." She said. She crossed looking around at the camp around her. Her green eyes twinkled slightly in the sunlight and her red hair was curled and all of it was behind her and it fell just past her shoulder blade. She smiled slightly as she set her bags down for a moment taking in her surroundings.

"Bye" Miles said as he picked up his bag and walked away from Cassie.

Landry looked at the girl that was at the border that the boy had just left (Cassie). She was pretty. She walked up to her. "Hi." She said.

Cassie rolls her eyes as this girl approaches. Cassie gives a cruel laugh, "What makes you think I want to talk to you?"

"Why wouldn't you?" Landry retorts back.

Cassie rolls her eyes, "Oh good gods. You're one those people."

Skye and Q sat on the side of the hill, not far from the border, talking enthusiastically.

"I don't know what you mean." Landry said playing with her hair. "My name is Landry Henderson, daughter of Aglaia."

(Sorry. My bad. I'll change it.)

Miles sat down under a tree.

Cassie rolls her eyes, "Oh I think you do. You might think that you are something special now, but I assure you, that you will quickly discover that you aren't. What are your powers? Charmspeak? Attraction enhancing?"

"Nope. Nothing." Landry said. "I'm just ordinary." She was more or less trying to lull this girl into a false sense of security but she wasn't lying. She had no powers. She just had a wildly high ability to persuade others.

Cassie starts to laugh, "Oh wow. You are REALLY going to be nothing special. Well enjoy the camp." She says laughing as she head to the beach.

Landry snickered at that comment. She had something special about her that this one didn't need to know about. First she was amazingly attractive. Second, she can persuade nearly anyone to do almost anything within reason.

Barry walked along the border with Jasper.

Landry walked off to her cabin.

Chewy stood by the border and looked around.

Cassie was on her way out of the camp when she sees Chewy. "Come to see me off?" she asks jokingly.

"How could I not" Winston said" I'm really going to miss you."

Cassie smiles, and kisses him, "I'm going to miss you too, but if my brother is out there, I nned to bring him back. This was the one place we ever felt at home."

Chewy nodded then kissed back "stay safe."

Cassie gives him a smile, "Naturally." She says and leaves the camp.

Chewy sighed and watched her go.

Chewy sat at the border like he had been doing everyday to see if Cassie or her brother had returned.
