The Waterfall

"Dawn, I like you. I love spending time with you and all and I'm willing to wait however long it takes for you to make a decision. I'm not going to rush you into anything. You deserve time to think about it all and I'll respect that and give you the time you need." Justin said. "Aphrodite's given me a fair share of heartbreaks and rejections. She'd been giving me hell for the longest time. She started to make me think I'll never be happy. And after I got amnesia, I now look back on what a wreck I was. What I'm trying to say is, I've learned from my mistakes. And I think we both know what it's like to hurt like that and what it's like to have Aphrodite play with our minds and I think we could make it work."

Dawn nods, "I just hope Max can be as forgiving. But the relationship we were in wasn't healthy. He deserves someone who can stay loyal to him."

Sierra watched then left

Justin nodded. "I'm sure he'll forgive you." He said. "And if he doesn't, he's not worth it." He gave her a slight smile.

(Chris is asleep, I don't know what you want me to say.)

Dawn smiles, "And what if it turns out he is, and I'm not?"

"If he isn't willing to forgive you, he's not worth your time. Plain and simple. If he doesn't want to have someone like you in his life, that's his loss." Justin smiled sympathetically.

Dawn smiles and nods. "Thank you."

Justin nodded. He hummed the tune to Forever by The Beach Boys, the song he was singing when she unexpectedly kissed him.

Dawn gives a small smile and gives him a short kiss.

Justin smiled and let out a small chuckle. "You just really like that song, don't you?" He joked.

Dawn blushes a bit, "Maybe. Or maybe I really like you?" She says softly with a small smile.

"Why can't it be both?" Justin asked.

Dawn just blushes again. "I never said it couldn't be."

Justin wanted to kiss her but he didn't know if he should. He didn't know how she'd react so he just chuckled. He began singing "Forever" again:

If the song I sing to you
Could fill your heart with joy
I'd sing forever"

Dawn then kisses him again.

Justin kissed back, holding her close.

Dawn stayed there still kissing him as he held her. She then felt, calmer. Her head felt more clear, the whole earth seemed to melt away, and that the stars were shinning just for them.

Justin felt like he was on top of the world. He had finally won over the girl of his dreams and here they were, kissing. It felt right. Aphrodite had been waiting all this time with him because he wanted to pair him up with her own daughter. Funny how things work out.

Dawn then slowly pulls away in slight surprise, "Wow. I don't think Ive ever felt that way before."

Justin smiled and finished the verse:
"Forever
Forever
I've been so happy loving you."
Justin sang the last line slowly and took her hands as he sang.

Dawn smiled and blushed again, pushing some hair that had fallen in her face out of the way.

Justin leaned forward and kissed her.

Dawn kisses him back.
