Training Area

He smirked and turned from her and continued training. Alot had happened while he was gone

Kora wasn't done with him. "Ash. What is going on with you? And don't say nothing. It's bad form to lie to a child of Dike."

Ashton looked at her. He couldnt see her get hurt. So he knew what he had to do "i dont wanna be with you anymore" he said his heart breaking

Kora was stunned. "How long? How long has it been since you wanted this?"

"Since i got back" he said

Kora nods, trying to hide how heart broken she is, "So, this new person you found. Do you like her a lot?"

Ashton chuckled "there is no new person"

Kora just nods then goes over to the archery area, with out saying another word. She picks up a bow and takes aim at the targets, firing with deadly accuracy.

Ashton had tears falling from his eyes after she turned from him "i cant do this. I love you"

Kora sighs, "To be honest, I was going to come talk to you about us myself. You just beat me to it, and it caught me off guard." She says taking a pause, "We don't work well ass a couple anymore do we?"

Barry stood in the back of the arena slashing at a dummy with amazing speed.

Ashton walked over tp her. He cupped her cheeks and kissed her deeply "i love you kora. I only did that to protect you. I ran into some people and they threatened to hurt the thing i care about most. And thats you"

Kora looks at him,  "What sort of people? Thugs?"

"Monsters. I can not lose you" he said

Kora gives him a look, "So, I'm missing something here. You want to dump me because, a monster threatens you? If that was all it took I would have dumped you months ago." She says then gives him a small smile, "If they do follow through with their threats, then I will be waiting for them with my blade."

He frowned then smiled "i love you kora kraven"

"I love you too. But no more dumping me to 'protect me' any more. Talk to me first, then I'll deal with the situation on my own if needed. Ok?"

He nodded and kissed her

Kora smiles and kisses back, the starts to wrestle with him.

Ashton chuckled and began wrestling back

Kora walks in and waits.

Pyotr smirked and tapped her shoulder from behind.

Kora jumps and almost punches him, but then lowers once she sees who it is, " Never do that again, or I might not stop in time." She says as she takes out a dummy, "Lesson one: Hand to hand combat. No powers. No gimmicks." She says as she tosses him a pair of sparing gloves.

"Gimmicks?" Pyotr echoed as he pulled on the gloves with some distaste.

" Cheap tricks, ways to cheat to get a head. In other words, an easy win. You will find in a lot of competitive things, people will use something called 'trash talk' to rattle their opponents, and make it so their emotions take control and cloud their judgement. As a daughter of Dike, I think that sort of win is dishonorable. Nothing, beats good old fashioned hard work. Before, we can go on to other things, first master the basics. Find weak points on your opponent and use that to your advantage." She says pushing him to the ground, "Think of yourself as tree. Rooted to the ground, so no matter how the other person tries, they cant knock you down and get the upper hand." She says offering a hand to help him back up.
