Backstory: When Tate was eleven, he started getting chased by monsters at school. Up until that point, his mom hadn't told him anything about him being a son of Ares or the world of demigods. After managing to escape them, she explained it all and said there was a camp he could go to that could teach him. He managed to get there and ever since has lived at Camp Half-blood, occasionally visiting his mom so she knows he's okay.
Strengths: Smart, resourceful, and great with weapons. Loyal to the end.
Weaknesses: Can be a bit overconfident at times, tends to push himself too hard in training. Doesn't know how to back down from a fight.
Weapon(s): Hudiedao (twin fighting swords). Also pretty good with a bow, spear, and always has his hunting knife.
