CHB Cabin Headcanons!

There's a lot of cute, funny, and neat headcanons floating and roaming around, I was wondering if any of you have some that you'd like to share. It can be your own headcanon, something you saw, or even be built off an already posted headcanon!

~The Apollo campers are completely terrified of the dark, due to their father being the god of light. They don't hate the dark itself-they're only afraid of what they can't see, resulting in each of them having night lights above their beds.

~The Apollo cabin kids are always awake at the very asscrack of dawn not because any magical 'kid of the sun' bullshit but because Apollo blasts heavy metal from the sun car at a sound frequency only his kids can hear to make sure they wake up on time to see their father in all his assholish glory pass by camp every morning.

~Surprisingly, most campers went to the Apollo kids for relationship advice rather than the Aphrodite kids. This was because since Apollo was the god of Truths, his children were terrible at lying and would tell the campers immediately if someone liked them.

Every cabin has a Christmas tree at Christmas  time. Despite it being a Christian holiday, the star on the top is replaced by a bronze replica of the parent's symbol. Usually the youngest camper is asked to put the symbol on the top of the tree, standing on the shoulders of the eldest.

Beyoncé is a child of Apollo and was offered the chance to become immortal to serve as her father's lieutenant. However, she refused for mortal fame, and her song 'All The Single Ladies' is dedicated to her sisters, Artemis and the Huntresses.

Adult demigods often left Omega signs on their windows and doors to let younger demigods know it was a safe place to resort to if they were being hunted by monsters. It was a necessity, and demigod families often escorted their visitors to Camp Half Blood.

(When did you tell me that? O.o)

What about Athena kids being afraid of spiders? I don't remember the reason. I just remember it exists.

That's because Athena turned Arachne into a spider, and so her children, spiders, have malice towards the children of Athena. That's not a head canon; that actually is canon and part of the books.

I showed Logan a picture on a forum before realising it had a bad word in and took it down. I assumed you'd seen it too...

There is a rumour... that once the Iris cabin disowned a sibling for saying that M&Ms were better than skittles.

~No child of Aphrodite has, to this day, ever become a Hunter of Artemis for a long period of time if it all. If ever, it was only after being dumped.

~Poseidon campers don't eat seafood.

~Children of Hecate are actually extremely knowledgeable and intelligent, but not in the same way as children of Athena. They are able to study magic even from other civilizations, which usually comes with a wide knowledge of the rest of the world.

Hermes was seriously considering whether or not everyone who was addicted to Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. was his child. He claimed Tumblr to be his personal fanclub, since everyone on there was basically born in the Internet Addicted Generation.

The Avengers & Thor movies were banned on Olympus because Zeus couldn't handle the thought that there might be another thunder god. To prove he was the only one capable, he used his lightning bolt to scorch 3 countries.

~Before some of the Hecate campers left for Hogwarts, the other cabins decided to arrange a leaving party. This included broomstick shaped cookies, a comforting campfire, and a visit from Rachel Dare's distant cousin, Ron Weasley.

Idk it was kind of a crossover of HP and CHB xD

often, to 'please' their mother, iris campers would run around camp throwing skittles at people and yelling 'In the name or iris, taste the rainbow!'. Most campers would lock themselves in their cabins, calling it 'the dreaded rainbow hour'

When Hecate first heard of hogwarts, she thought that every student attending was her own child. Athena had to show her a diagram about how each child couldn't possibly be hers, because there was more than twice the population of Camp attending Hogwarts. Even then, Hecate gave her fellow Olympian a look and said 'You're just jealous.'
