Just a quick reminder to all campers to reply to characters' bio forms when they are no longer in use as characters to let us know that fact so we can keep the collection up to date, and also to reply in the Faceclaim, Who's Who, and Cabin lists so that we can work as efficiently as possible!

Thank you,

PostSubject: Felicity's Tale   Mon May 05, 2014 3:28 pm

I was going round with a few of my friends, Lily, Sarah and Hannah, and we were going to Hannah's house (it was after school), and this woman from the other side of the road called me over, said it was important. I don't know why, but I crossed the road to her, it just felt as if I should, like it was safe. She came up to me, this woman, and said to me - 'Go home now, you're not safe.' I refused, of course, stupid as I was. She tried to convince me, but she failed. So in the end, she gave me χάος, my celestial bronze dagger. She made me promise to take it, even if I didn't go home. She told me to go home once more, but I went back to my friends. That was the most stupid thing I have ever done, I have regretted it ever since this day. So, I went back to my friends and we carried on. I looked behind me, and the woman was gone. Just vanished. But something was wrong. I crouched, and lucky I did, because something whizzed over my head, I still don't know to this day, but when I turned round, my friends were gone, and in their place were what I now know to be empousai. I screamed, of course, and ran home as fast as I could. I thought I'd lost them. No chance. They stalked me to my house. They attacked that night, when my dad and I were asleep. I was woken by something, and I looked out of the window, and there they were, all three of them. I grabbed χάος and went downstairs. I should of woken my dad, but I wanted to protect him. It didn't work. Two of them lured me off while the other set fire to the house. I didn't know, I could hardly see, it was the middle of the night. I was chasing these 2 empousai to the park, thinking there were three. But when I saw the house go up in flames, I knew. I'd been tricked. I screamed at them, and attacked wildly, swinging χάος left right and centre. The third had caught up, and I was battling for my life. I managed to defeat them, and I ran back to the house. The whole building was ablaze, and there was nothing I could do. My dad was gone. Somehow, I don't know how, I found this place. But at the cost of my dad's life. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I had woken him up, or gone back to sleep, or just not bothered with my friends and gone home like Mom told me, because it was Mom, I know it was. And that was the day I turned 13. The worst day of my life. Ever.

Rest in Peace, Disney, I hope you are happier now, wherever you are. You won't be forgotten, I swear. I'm glad we could offer some light to you in dark times.

Death leaves a heartache that no-one can heal, but love leaves a memory that no-one can steal.

Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I'll miss you, until we meet again.

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, missed, and very dear.
